JINGLES FOR DEMOCRACY PLAYLIST
My team of friends and I have put together a social media movement that rises above disinformation, adversity, and focuses on supporting the peaceful process of democracy. This is something every American has understood, respected, and loved most of their lives. The message“Vote for democracy” still reaches the heart and delivers it with art and music. . We made it easy for you to do something different. We have curated 61 jingles so far on this PLAYLIST. Take a look and share share share your favorites all over the place. You can read more at jinglesfordemocracy.com. The playlist includes beautiful little offerings by lovers of democracy like Bonnie Koloc, James Lee Stanley, Ralph Covert, Marcella Detroit, Phil Bimstein, Ellen Miller, Michael Stanwood, Michael Miles, Josh Flanders, a bunch of beauties by Jim Tullio and a lot of friends … and you can make some too! Remind everyone that the long term system of democracy offers peaceful discourse and a voice in the process. We don’t want anyone to trade that for a short term idea or wish. The point here is to not mention the candidates but it is clear that our only choice is Harris. - Cousin Corky

Thoughts on Masks and Science
Not requiring, but strongly recommending masks for all crowded indoor events. The CDC is no longer requiring a 5 day isolation with a positive covid symptom or test. So the masking is not such an issue for me anymore. However, I got covid recently and had to cancel a show. If I had worn a mask for the two hour indoor gathering it would have been an inconvenience but not as much as an inconvenience of being sick (with covid, flu, a cold) for a week and missing out. Getting a cold might be inevitable but why do it on purpose in situations where the chances are much higher of being infected, like a crowded indoor events. - Your own Germaphobe - Cousin Corky :-)
Knowing the odds in a world that makes us all gamblers.
I am convinced, that science, even with its inconsistencies, still offers the best odds — as a tool in this life — for making our best choices. The inconsistencies also exist in alternatives — with less guard rails. If am going for an alternative, at least I will give medical science a chance to have my back. Please make sure you are up to date and ready for treatment if it is recommended by your doctor. Again - Science isn’t perfect but it brought us the iPhone, your ability to read sent messages like this, as they travel through space to you, … and a few other conveniences . - Corky
