This is a 2024 historic groundbreaking project composed and performed by Corky Siegel (me) and members of Chicago Symphony Orchestra and other local and major orchestras around the world.

Do you remember the recordings of two 1970s William Russo works with Maestro Seiji Ozawa, San Francisco Symphony on Deutsche Grammophon? (Street Music w/Corky Siegel as guest soloist) and Three Pieces for Blues Band… w/Siegel-Schwal). Symphonic Blues No. 6 is the first recording of this singular genre is over five decades as inspired by the blues masters and Seiji Ozawa. You will hear the opposing forces and unique characters of blues and classical in equal partnership chasing each other around the room in a joyful romp, with symphony member and me and blues harmonica. - Corky Siegel
