A timely, passionate, psycho-political collection of all originals, invoking the energies of Pete Seeger, Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie, Dalai Lama, my personal teachers, social psychologists, and Dr. L. Subramaniam who encouraged me; “It’s hard to change people’s minds with words, but you can get to their hearts with song.” Some of my best songwriting to date.

BLUES MUSIC MAGAZINE REVIEW by Terry Abrahamson

My review of the review: Blues Music Magazine's Terry Abrahamson, the Grammy Award winning writer, who was close friends with Muddy Waters and wrote many songs with him, just wrote a review on one of my three album releases; "Songs for Truth and Harmony." Because I released 3 albums all at once (they say you should have your dessert first when you are this old) only one received the attention and went wee wee wee wee all the way home leaving the other two little piggies behind. This little piggy album (really the most important) was fortunate to find Terry -- who found it.

I must thank Terry, not only for the great review and profound compliments, but for the beautiful writing. I would have to describe his prose as buoyant, full of surprises and imagination, unique and fearless. He even touched upon some history with Siegel-Schwall, me and Jim and Howlin' Wolf and tied it all in so seamlessly. Reading the review was like hearing one of Terry's songs sung by Muddy. He brings everything to life including my couch. It's like reading Alice in Wonderland, and there is the rabbit hole of endless superlatives both hidden and visible. Thank you Terry. I'm so lucky to have you around. - Corky
