Why? I figured the music industry has gotten so good at almost giving away the artist’s digital music that I’d rather just give it away myself. LOL! But I’d also like to inspire artists to put a more reasonable monetary value on their work while the industry makes more by devaluing.Streaming is available on most fine platforms
I believe the popularity of CDs will come back. You could get them signed by the artist, hold them, hug them, read them, enjoy the artwork and the booklets, collect them for a cozy place on a shelf. They are certainly more portable than vinyl and technically they sound much much much better while admittedly not as fun. i.e. you can watch the vinyl go around and around if the music is boring. This CD player was recommended by Ken Goerres, my sonic guru who has done all my mixing for the last century.

Recommended. This is the first recording with Sam Lay and the first performance by Siegel-Schwall in 14 years. It was taped for a WXRT “Unconcert” at the Vic Theater in Chicago. It includes Sam lay‘s favorite version of “Got my Mojo Working”
This historically significant album is the last recording of Siegel-Schwall. More importantly, it features Sam Lay and 4 of his songs - one where he plays guitar.
It was Seiji Ozawa with William Russo’s help that started my whole world of juxtaposing blues and classical. Deutsche Grammophon calls these pieces “An American Classic.”
For anyone interested in digging deep into the world of music expression especially teachers, students and performing artists. Also for those that just want to get into Corky Siegel’s head.
